The Oaklands Wedding Fair

Sunday 25th March 2012 10.00am to 2.30pm – FREE entry!

If you are a couple who have just got engaged and starting to make plans for your special day or if you are getting close to big day and still have a few last minute requirements then the Oaklands Wedding Fair is all you need.

The venue, the dress, the cake or simply your hair and makeup, we have lots if exhibitors lined up to showcase their goods and services for everything you could possibly need for your perfect Wedding.

So come along on Sunday 25th March with your partner or your friends to see our beautiful venue and get some great advice and book everything you need all in one day.

For just £999 we offer more flexibility on your choice of day and date. This fantastic packages offers:

  • Bucks fizz reception for 40 guests.
  • 3 course sit down wedding breakfast for 40 guests.
  • Evening reception buffet for 60 guests.
  • Ceremony room & evening reception room hire.
  • Wedding host & red carpet.
  • Overnight accommodation for bride & groom.

The £499 package is available all year round Monday to Thursday only.

The £999 package is limited to certain dates and subject to availability.

If you are looking for the wedding of your dreams then look no further than the Oaklands Hotel.

The Best of the Best Wedding Package is normally £7,000 and in our end of Summer sale we are offering just ten of these packages with an amazing 50% discount at just £3,500!

  • Arrival drinks and a sit down wedding breakfast for 70 guests followed by an evening reception for 100 guests.
  • Arrival champagne and canapés.
  • A choice of any one of our signature wedding menus or a luxury fork buffet which showcases some of the finest foods available. We are happy to accommodate any special requirements, after all, it is your day.
  • Seasonal dessert menu followed by a luxury cheeseboard.
  • Fresh tea and coffee served with chocolate truffles.
  • Fine wine of your choice to be served during your wedding breakfast and champagne to toast.
  • A luxury evening buffet at your reception.
  • Chair covers to add that something extra special to your room.
  • Three luxury lodges for you and your special guests.
  • This fantastic offer includes room hire and the use of the hotel for your wedding ceremony should you require this.

This exclusive deal is for a minimum number of 70 guests during the day and 100 guests for the evening reception. If you have fewer guests the price remains the same. You can add additional guests at the 50% reduced rate. Availability is limited and is restricted to just ten bookings per calendar year.

Ceremonies

The Oaklands Hotel has a fully approved licence to perform wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships. This means that we can provide a complete service which caters for all needs and requirements on your special day.

To ensure your ceremony runs smoothly your dedicated wedding co-ordinator is present throughout to oversee all aspects of the service, assisting your guests and arranging the music.

Wedding ceremonies can take place in the following rooms:

  • Yare Suite (up to 150 guests): £250
  • Garden Lounge (up to 50 guests): £150

Please note that the above fees are for the use of the function rooms only and do not include the actual ceremony fees, these costs are separate and can be made payable directly to the registrar.

Ceremonies can be performed at 10.00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 4:00pm seven days a week. In order to book the services of the registrar, the bride and groom must contact them direct on 01603 767600.

Banqueting Rooms

The Oaklands Hotel has an wide collection of newly refurbished function rooms to suit wedding celebrations of all sizes, from small private gatherings to lavish receptions...

The Yare Suite

This is our largest wedding room and features its own private bar, dancefloor, toilet facilities and private door onto the patio and gardens. The Yare Suite can accommodate up to 150 people for a sit down wedding breakfast and 200 for an evening reception.

Cedar Room

The smaller side of the Yare Suite has its own private bar and toilet facilities. The Cedar Room can accommodate up to 50 people or a sit down meal.

Oak Room

The larger side of the Yare Suite has natural daylight overlooking the beautiful gardens and direct access onto the patio. The Oak Room can accommodate up to 80 people for a sit down breakfast.

Garden Lounge

Overlooking the gardens with direct access onto the patio, the Garden Lounge will accommodate 50 people for a sit down breakfast and 70 for an evening reception.

Grand Marquee

This relatively new development is attached to the Garden Lounge and has its own private bar, dancefloor facilities and nearby toilets. This purpose built venue is fully heated enabling it to be used all year round. The maximum numbers the marquee will accommodate are 120 people for a sit down wedding breakfast and up to 150 people for an evening reception.

Please note there is a premium of £500 for any Saturday dates during peak season.
