Arrive to a warm welcome and even warmer hot cross buns, tea or coffee and a squash perhaps for the little ones... After settling into your accommodation, join us for a sumptuous dinner in our brand new restaurant 'ROAST'. Select from a menu offering exclusively the finest of British food - maybe the feature roast joint carved at your table? Perhaps choose your own steak, sliced and trimmed and then cooked to perfection on our theatre grill in front of you in the restaurant? There's something for everyone...
* EGGSTRA VALUE - Our Easter gift to you - join us for dinner on us on Good Friday, and we will also offer you a bottle of house wine to enjoy...that's also on us! FRIDAYS really are GOOD at The Oaklands...
EASTER SATURDAY
A day to relax and take at a leisurely pace, or not - it's up to you! Perhaps window shopping in Norwich, now officially recognised as one of the top ten shopping destinations in the country... A trip out to the coast - either the unspoilt beauty of North Norfolk, or the sights and sounds of family fun in Great Yarmouth... Maybe explore the Broads, or some of our fine National Trust properties such as Blickling Hall - the choice is yours. An evening of relaxed dining then awaits...
* EGGSTRA VALUE - Our younger guests are invited to join us late Saturday afternoon for some fun egg decoration - and there's prizes too! Look out for them on Sunday lunchtime...
EASTER DAY
A stroll to our local traditional parish church for the Easter Sunday service is of course an optional fine start to the day - Easter Sunday lunch is not! Succulent meats, local and seasonal vegetables, excellent service...you can understand why booking in advance is essential. The rest of the day is of course up to you...

A fun Easter Egg hunt during the afternoon is a must for our younger guests - with prizes! This will be followed by a glorious afternoon tea, with our compliments. Look out for a very special visitor in the early evening...the Easter Bunny, after having such a busy day has always popped in for a little sit down on his way back to his burrow...maybe he will again this year too? Keep your eyes peeled... He might even have Easter Eggs left in his basket...
EASTER MONDAY
A glorious English Breakfast awaits you this morning, traditional and hearty - the perfect end to the perfect weekend... Why not join us for a fabulous family lunch prior to departure? Bookable in advance of course...
